The tabla in Arabic tabl,"Drum") is a percussion instrument of North Indian music. They provided consists of two small drums, the skins of a characteristic circular eye and played with the fingers of both hands. It has a percussion instrument with a large soundstage. The tabla is played both in the classical Hindustani music, and used in folk and religious music, mainly in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Also in the classical music of Afghanistan, the tabla is used. Since the sixties of the 20th Century, it is used because of their sound and in Western pop and jazz.
