Description
If we look back on the glory days of rock guitar (mid-1960s to mid-1970s), some of the most popular amp setups were British marshals and voxes, often with multi-speaker cabinets. Guitarists like Tony Iommi, Ritchie Blackmore, Brian May etc. created theirs with these systems
unmistakable sound on stage and in the studio, and to get the powerful bass under control, they used the "Treble Booster". Treble boosters add higher frequencies to the guitar sound and, depending on how the amplifier is set, also the coveted overdrive. As much as companies like Dallas (Rangemaster) and Hornby Skewes (Treble Booster) solved the problem of bass, they also created a new palette of sounds! Carl Martin decided it was time to reintroduce that sound with the PlexiRanger! To add a boost channel in addition to a gain channel to create this unique effects pedal!
