The PDI 03 JB is suitable for the office, studio and home recording and replaces the time-consuming, problematic microphone pickup.

Specially designed for Joe Bonamassa's high demands and a powerful but clearly defined tone, the DI box's exclusive JB switch provides an extra boost and maximum punch. With two precisely tuned three-stage filters, the PDI 03 JB authentically reproduces the frequency response of classic and modern speakers and loudspeakers. The input sensitivity can be adapted to amplifiers with an output power of up to 200 watts as well as devices with line and instrument levels.

The PDI 03 JB achieves a constant guitar sound in live use and also gives preamps or overdrive and distortion pedals the typical sound characteristics of loudspeakers during direct recording. The robust DI box in a black powder-coated steel housing is equipped with extremely reliable Amphenol connection sockets and a ground lift switch prevents hum caused by ground loops.

For direct recordings WITHOUT speakers, we recommend the Palmer Power Attenuator PDI06 or the Palmer Dual Load Box PLB2X8 as a dummy load (ensure correct impedance).
