Palmer PPB10

The PPB10 is a compact version of the well known and established PPB20 from Palmer. The PPB10 is a 10 channel audio splitter for press conferences and other applications. On a transformer split basis, one line input is split out to ten outputs.

A Press Patch Box is a special audio signal distributor, which is designed for the specific needs of a press conference. It features separate inputs for microphone or line signal (mixer output) can be connected. A high-input amplifier with transformer balanced input allows a level adjustment in a wide range. 20 transformer balanced XLR sockets with paired driver circuits are available as outputs for video cameras or other recording equipment. The nominal output level is +4 dBu] to 600 [ohm. Additionally, channel 19 and 20 with TRS jacks for balanced or unbalanced signals and RCA connectors (-10 dBu nominal) as standard. If more than 20 outputs are required, further PPB20 be cascaded via a rear BUS IN / OUT jack. Signal monitoring is provided by a 10-chain Led (display range -40 to +10 dB, 0 dB match for +4 dBu output) and an adjustable headphone amplifier. The PPB20 has a built-shielded power supply. An additional DC input allows the battery power supply or a disaster. PW4 is a suitable redundant power supply for two PPB20.
