Description

The SS-950 has a new centered ball and socket tilter that Allows almost limitless angle adjustment. The location of the tilter so Allows the full power of each stroke since the force is driven straight into the vertical tube. The basket can be quickly detached from the vertical tube by loosening a single wing nut, Allowing for compact storage or quick changes snare drum at a gig. The new three-arm design basket Allows the SS-950 to sit almost 2 "lower than the previous model. New ball tilter clamp, heavy weight, double-braced legs with new spikes, three arms. - Adjustable Angle Tileter - Snare Basket Adjustment Knob - Big Rubber Feet and spikes Adjustable Angle Tileter snare drum angle adjustment is speedy and flexible. Yamaha's exclusive ball clamp design on the SS950 lets you set your snare at any angle you like. The large wing bolt tightens securely to hold the angle. Snare Basket Adjustment Knob Improved grip design delivers great gripping power. Big Rubber Feet and Spikes In addition to the wide leg stance, the big rubber feet deliver maximum grip to hold the stand securely in place.

Montage und Feinjustierung sind perfekt, aber Hauptgrund der für die Anschaffung sprach sind die Spikes. Nach ca. 5' Spiel hatte sich meine Snare schon 1-2cm verschoben - jetzt ist die Position auch nach Tagen ohne jede Anpassung so wie sie initial eingestell wurde. Preis ist verglichen mit anderen Stands hoch - aber zuerst einen günstigen Stand (welcher häufig natürlich Bestandteil eines Sets ist), welcher die Position ändert ist eben dann noch insgesamt noch höher. PS konnte meinen alten Stand für das Übungspad weiterverwenden... - nur so als Idee
