The 2028 captures these off-axis sounds in the most natural way. We have developed a brand new capsule for the 2028 that is an integral part of the microphone. It is firmly connected to the shock mount and cannot be removed. The redesigned shock mount and pop filter were developed specifically for the 2028 . On the live stage, the 2028 delivers the same open and transparent sound as other DPA microphones.
