EMG 60-7X (Black)

The 60-7 packs plenty of output with both clarity and a distinctive crunch. It has these characteristics because of close aperture coils loaded with ceramic magnets for the brightest attack of any of our 7-string humbucking models. This model is most often used for rhythm guitar as its tonal characteristics enable it to achieve everything from nice clean bluesy tones, to hard rocking crunchiness. The X series provide increased headroom giving the voicing an organic and open tone while still maintaining the clarity and response that EMG's are renowned for.
