PRS 40th Anniversary Custom 24 Limited Edition (Tiger Eye)

The new 40th Anniversary Custom 24 Limited Edition celebrates four decades of PRS Guitars. Limited to 400 units worldwide, this special edition features both traditional design cues and new appointments, making it a must-have piece for serious musicians and collectors alike. Built on the tried and tested foundation of a mahogany back and neck with an artist-quality maple top, the 40th Anniversary Custom 24 features a retro violin top, PRS “Old School” contoured birds and a PRS “Pre-Factory” headstock eagle, all of which pay homage to early PRS guitars. Aside from these aesthetic attributes, the 40th Anniversary Custom 24 looks to the future with its all-new PRS DMO Treble and Bass pickups. The DMO pickups (DMO stands for Dynamic, Musical, Open) were specified by Paul Reed Smith and the PRS New Products Engineering team to produce a wide-open sound with vocal character. Other classic features of the Custom 24 include the patented PRS Gen III tremolo, PRS Phase III locking tuners with wing buttons and PRS signature 10-46 strings. This limited edition also features a Ziricote fingerboard and headstock veneer. This special series marks the start of the year-long celebration of PRS Guitars' 40th anniversary.
