Old school overdrive. The boost is quite intense so use carefully. I use it on electro/acoustic guitar and violin and response is not very subtle (from barely perceptible dirt to pure feedback in a small dial turn). Perhaps not designed for these instruments.

Supposedly this overdrive pedal is based on the 'legendary' Klon unit renowned for its transparency. I don't know about that, but for a reasonable outlay of cash it sounds really, really good, with quite a flexible range of overdriven sounds. If you're contemplating a first overdrive or distortion pedal you won't regret getting this unit. The treble knob is a nice control to have as it adds a lot more variability. And, like many other Electroharmonix pedals you can run it off a Boss PSA-style 9V power supply: good to know if you have a pedal board with a mixture of pedals. The only slight downside is that to add/change a 9V battery you'll need to a use a screwdriver - unlike comparable Boss units, which have a more convenient access system.
Let's be frank. It is a clone of the very expensive Klone Centaur pedal.
Not exact copy but very close to it. Of cause you shouldn't expect too much from the pedal with the price 7 times lower than the original. You won't find same elements inside, what you can see there is plenty of cheap SMD...
BUT! The pedal delivers all you need - boost, nice overdrive and creamy tones.
Blues and rock covered by this small unit.
