Neumann KK145 (nextel schwarz)

KK 145 is a pressure gradient receiver with a cardioid directional characteristic like KK 184. An acoustic depth reduction in the open field serves to suppress low-frequency interference (wind noise, structure-borne noise). The close-up effect that is physically caused by pressure gradient microphones results in a flat frequency response (“cardioid speech”) when talking at close range from a distance of approx. 15 cm.
