The LA MONTAGNE was built to deliver an aggressive and organic fuzz tone. It’s as compact as it is complete, with a simple and effective EQ, two gain stages, and an impedance adaptation circuit so you can place it anywhere in your signal chain.

With LA MONTAGNE, we stripped things down to the bare essentials: just the knobs you need, no compromise on tone.

LA MONTAGNE was designed to capture the raw fuzz tone of an amp pushed to its limits: when it’s on the edge, struggling, snarling, and producing a thick, grainy saturation. It's nothing like what you’d get at “ear-friendly” volumes.

LA MONTAGNE features two cascading fuzz stages. That’s where the 3-way “MORE” switch comes in:

Set to “OFF”, you get the first fuzz stage only, a tone that’s already bold and heavy.

Switch to “MID” or “HIGH” to activate the second fuzz stage with carefully tuned presets that always deliver. Whether you’re after more gain, more volume, more thickness, or all three, you’re covered.

The TONE knob is a highly effective tilt EQ, offering a wide range of sounds, especially when paired with the SCOOP switch, which cuts mids just where it feels right.

LA MONTAGNE also includes a switchable impedance adaptation circuit. Unlike most fuzz pedals, it plays nice with any effect you put before or after it: no weird tone loss, just killer sound every time.
