Korg Keystage 61

The Keystage from KORG is the ultimate MIDI keyboard for live and studio applications. Its semi-weighted keyboard with 61 keys offers velocity sensitivity, channel and polyphonic Aftertouch as well as MPE compatibility (MIDI Polyphonic Expression). Thanks to the support of the MIDI 2.0 standard, the Keystage is also able to communicate bi-directionally with software and hardware instruments. In this way, for example, when using MIDI 2.0 compatible instruments, their most important parameters are automatically mapped to the eight rotary controls on the Keystage. In addition, the names of these parameters and their values ​​are shown on the OLED displays below the respective controls and compared in real time. Since the Keystage is backwards compatible, it can also be used to control classic MIDI devices that do not yet support the MIDI 2.0 standard. The Keystage is compatible with most common DAWs and also offers particularly deep integration with KORG Gadget and Ableton Live. Thanks to the internal USB audio interface, it can also be connected to a computer and a sound system very easily and without additional peripherals, which is invaluable, especially when used live. Also on board is a sophisticated arpeggiator and an inspiring chord mode, which can be used to call up predefined chords using individual keys . The slim and lightweight housing allows for easy transport, but at the same time has the necessary stability for the often strenuous everyday life on stage. The scope of delivery includes a practical accessory tray that can be attached in two different positions and at two different angles and offers enough space for smart devices, tablets or even smaller laptops. The software package also includes the KORG Gadget Producer Bundle, wavestate native LE and Ableton Live 11 Lite.
