Mit seinem sehr präzisen Anschlag, dem homogenen Timbre in jedem Register, den kontrollierten hohen Tönen und dem warmen und samtigen Klang bietet dieses neue Blatt außergewöhnliche Möglichkeiten.

Die V-12-Blätter werden aus aufgrund ihrer spezifischen Proportionen ausgewähltem Rohr hergestellt, haben eine dickere Ferse und sind auf einer längeren Palette mit einer etwas dickeren Spitze als die traditionellen Blätter geschnitten. Die längere Palette bedeutet, dass mehr vom Blatt vibriert, was zu einem tieferen, reicheren Klang führt. Die dickere Spitze verleiht dem Anschlag Körper und erhöht auch die Lebensdauer des Blattes.
