This Fender '59 P-Bass Journeyman, from the renowned Custom Shop, captures the essence of vintage bass guitars. Its Aged Candy Apple Red finish, paired with chrome/nickel hardware, offers a striking yet timeless look. Stored in a classic Tweed P Bass Case, it's as practical as it is stylish.
Constructed from 2-piece Bass Alder and finished with lacquer, the body offers exceptional resonance. Equipped with a HW 65-70 P Bass middle pickup and HW Vintage J-Bass bridge pickup, this P/J configuration delivers versatile and dynamic tones. The '62 P-Bass 4-Ply Tort Shell pickguard adds to its vintage appeal.
The quarter-sawn neck, with a '60 J-Bass "U" shape, is finished in Medium Tint Nitrocellulose, providing a comfortable and durable playing feel. The Bass Cites Rosewood AAA fretboard, featuring a 7.25" radius and 20 medium jumbo frets, ensures smooth playability.
Additional vintage features include Vintage Bass Nickel tuning keys and a matching painted head cap with a Jazz Bass decal. This bass, complete with a top-load truss rod and 4-bolt neck attachment, blends craftsmanship and heritage, perfect for bass enthusiasts.
