The MC 930 can undoubtedly be described as a universal talent. Produced to a high quality by hand at the company's Heilbronn location in Germany, the real condenser microphone naturally captures a wide variety of sources. Excellent technical properties and a well thought-out design including switchable pre-attenuation and switchable low-cut make the MC 930 a flexible companion in the studio and on loud live stages. The MC 930 small diaphragm true condenser microphone combines sound quality and application flexibility in equal measure. The largely linear frequency response ensures natural sound recording. Whether for acoustic guitar, piano, hi-hat, overhead, choir, orchestra, voice or solo instruments of all kinds - there is almost no sound source for which the MC 930 is not a good choice. Thanks to switchable attenuation (-15 dB), the MC 930 can also be used on loud instruments. Disturbing bass frequencies and low mids, which arise, for example, from impact noise or proximity effects, can be reduced by the switchable low cut with 6 dB/octave at 250 Hz. The microphone works with phantom power of 11 - 52 V. The MC 930 has a hand-made real condenser capsule. The membrane used is gold-coated and has excellent vibration and impulse behavior. This means that signals sound natural and precise throughout the entire event. The reproduction of percussive sounds is also extremely quick thanks to the excellent transient reproduction.
