With a Liberator pot instead of a traditional volume pot, changing pickups becomes child's play. The screw terminals eliminate the need to use a soldering iron. Each stripped pickup cable is simply screwed on. The Liberator system consists of two parts: the pickup connection and the potentiometer connection. The individual pickup wires are screwed onto the pickup connection. The connections are color coded for Seymour Duncan pickups, but the system also works with pickups from other manufacturers. The potentiometer connection has four connections: potentiometer input, potentiometer output and 2x ground. In addition to the screw terminals, there are also soldering points on the potentiometer connection for those who don't want to do without them.
