History inside! The first Marshall model was the JTM45 with model number 2245 in 1962. At that time, Jim still had his successful shop in Hanwell and could neither get enough Fender amps from America nor the Vox amplifiers, which were much more common in England at the time, for his customers. He made a virtue out of necessity and, with the help of technician Ken Bran, created the JTM45 . The 30 watt top soon became so well known among British guitarists of the time because of its unique sound that just three years later Jim decided to put his products in the hands of the distributor "Rose Morris". What followed is history today, but the first amp has not only stood the test of time, but is still the number 1 reference when it comes to British guitar sound... The real sound of the sixties! The warm, British overdrive of the JTM45 is of course available at a significantly lower volume than, for example, the 100 watt version "1959", which is why the JTM45 top is particularly interesting when more power amplifier distortion is required. The perfect sound reissue! With the true-to-original sound circuit and tube rectification, the New Vintage model is in no way inferior to its original - on the contrary, while the originals had clear sound differences between individual amps due to the higher component tolerances at the time, such series variation is practically impossible in today's era of CE guidelines . Exclusive manufacturing processes! Like all Marshall reissues, the JTM45 does not fit into series production. Similar to the hand-wired models of the Handwired series, a lot of handwork combined with the highest component quality guarantees its authenticity in terms of sound and visual appearance...
