Finally, after decades of suffering...as a cellist doing overdubs in my studio has always been such a headache: not having the mixer/computer next to where I play the instrument it was such a mess: getting up, putting the cello down, putting the headphone down, walking over to the computer changing the mix without hearing what I'm doing etc....
