Die Les Paul™ Standard 60s Modelle aus Epiphone neuer Inspired by Gibson™ Kollektion reproduzieren den Sound der Les Pauls der 1960er Jahre. Sie verfügen über einen klassischen Mahagonikorpus mit Ahorndecke, Grover®-Mechaniken und ProBucker™-Humbuckern mit CTS®-Potentiometern. Epiphone langjährige Freundschaft mit Mr. Les Paul begann 1940, als Les während seiner Nachtschicht in der ursprünglichen Epiphone Fabrik in Manhattan eine der weltweit ersten Solidbody-E-Gitarren baute. Les' erste Solidbody-Gitarre, genannt „The Log“, inspirierte später die Les Paul Standard, die viele für die beste E-Gitarre aller Zeiten halten.
