Description
Repose-épaules personnalisé
Se familiariser avec son violon est important pour une pratique et une interprétation réussies. L'instrument est intimement calé contre le corps, mais tous les joueurs ont une forme différente. Le repose-épaules personnalisé pour le violon NS peut être formé par le joueur pour s'adapter parfaitement à son corps. La mousse ferme est soutenue par une couche d'aluminium malléable qui peut être pliée avec le pouce et l'index pour mouler le reste dans pratiquement n'importe quelle position. Une fois que le repose-épaules est formé, la forme reste fixe, fournissant une plate-forme structurelle sûre.
Mentonnière réglable
Si vous pouviez prendre toute l'énergie que vous utilisez pour tenir votre violon et l'appliquer à votre jeu, joueriez-vous différemment? Une position optimale de la mentonnière est cruciale pour le confort du joueur. Le réglage complet permet à chaque joueur de personnaliser la mentonnière pour s'adapter à des formes de corps et à des styles de jeu très différents. Utiliser votre main pour surmonter le frottement de la pince vous permet d'expérimenter pour trouver un angle de mentonnière souhaitable. La mentonnière peut s'incliner vers l'avant et vers l'arrière, ainsi que vers la gauche et la droite. Les vis de serrage au centre de chaque moyeu peuvent être ajustées pour fournir la quantité de friction désirée afin de garantir que la mentonnière ne bouge pas pendant l'utilisation. Un bras en aluminium flexible et lesté s'enroule doucement autour du haut du torse, répartissant légèrement mais solidement la charge sur l'épaule, la poitrine et le haut du dos. Les vis de connexion réglables permettent au musicien de manœuvrer l'instrument dans une position de jeu optimale et de le régler pour plus de confort. Le violon reste bien en place sans l'aide des mains ou du menton, mais il reste mobile et réactif aux mouvements du joueur. Using set screws, the rock-maple bridge can be readily adjusted to the desired action height—high and powerful, low and fast, or anywhere in between.
A contoured ebony chin rest is standard. The optional Adjustable Chin Rest is also available for players wanting a more extensive range of position adjustments for further customized fit and comfort.
The standard Custom Shoulder Rest is highly adjustable, and whose base can be readily formed to fit the chest and shoulder perfectly. The NXTa also accepts NS Design's revolutionary Balanced Shoulder Rest, which secures it effortlessly in optimal playing position.
The patented tuning system built into the bottom of the body allows quick, easy and precise adjustment, exceptional pitch stability, and easy string changes.
At the heart of the NXTa is the Polar™ Pickup System, whose piezo components convert string vibration directly to signal output. This provides a balanced, tonally rich output, offering a wide range of expressive opportunities. Arco and Pizzicato have significantly different vibration characteristics, and the Polar Pickup faithfully captures both.
Dual Mode Output - The new dual mode signal output electronics of the NXTa takes the convenience, versatility and performance capability of the NXT to another level.
Active Mode - Using the supplied charger, connect the NXTa to any AC outlet for 60 seconds. This will fuel the capacitor-powered active circuit for 16 hours from the time of the charge. The instrument can then be plugged straight into any low or high impedance device, no direct box necessary. Since there is no signal loss over the full frequency spectrum of the instrument, the fundamentals of every note remain clear and strong, even with extra-long cables.
Passive Mode - The NXTa can be played in this mode with an amplifier with an impedance of 1 meg ohm or greater (3-10 meg ohm recommended) or with a direct box. (This mode provides performance capabilities identical to the original NXT.)

As an option, the violin can also attach to NS Design’s revolutionary Balanced Shoulder Rest, which “floats” the instrument in the desired playing position without being “clamped” between the jaw and the shoulder.
