Disaster Area Midi Box 4

Four independent control connections form the interface to your devices. New, user-accessible configuration switches make setup easier than ever.

Each control connection can be set to one of four output modes, which can be selected with the DIP switches on the front of the MIDI Box 4.

Tip Active: Suitable for Alexander, Meris, Empress, Bondi and other devices that use the voltage mode on the socket tip.

Ring active: Suitable for Chase Bliss Audio and other devices that use the voltage mode on the jack ring

Tip and ring active: Offers separate outputs for tip and ring of the control connection and enables two MIDI outputs via our TRS insert cable.

TRS MIDI: Activates the tip and pulls up the ring cable lug, for use with Boss, Jackson, Cooper, Swindler and other devices that conform to the MIDI TRS specification. Also works with our MJ-5P MultiJack to MIDI cable to enable additional standard MIDI outputs of the MIDI box 4.
