Description

The One Control Golden Acorn Overdrive Special was designed to reproduce the iconic overdrive and tremendous dynamic range of the renowned D-style amplifiers. Although these amplifiers were originally used by blues and fusion lead guitarists, this pedal can be used for a wide range of different music styles. The pedal features a soft type of distortion, which is essential to make expected note progressions sound seamless. It is important to place the Golden Acorn at the beginning of your signal chain, especially before a compressor, to take advantage of its enormous dynamic range.
