Powerful tube amps are great for the stage whereas low-watt combos are ideal for small venues and rehearsals. Launched in 2011, THR introduced the concept of the “third amp” category, designed for playing at home and delivering something that’s more than just a smaller version of these larger amps.
THR features a stylish desktop enclosure and realistically models the tone and feel of cranked tube amplifiers at living room volumes with essential effects. Players can accompany their favorite music through the hi-fi speakers, or record their own through the integrated audio interface.
