It is compact, and quite robust. The mechanical design of holding mic enclosed works well. Even put on a dead cat fur, the size does not overly increase. It is this very reason I bought it for my GoPro Hero 9 with a Media Mod, instead of buying Rhode mic. I use wide angle, and this Sennheisser MKE200 does not get into the lens or in the view when filming. One caution. It is a directional mike, and it does not pick up much sound from behind (but that is how this mic is designed anyway). I sometimes use it with an iPhone with a monopod, and it works well. Some may not like the microphone cable need to be attached in the front side of the mic instead of at the back (e.g. Rhode mic is the case). If you are using a view finder of your mirrorless camera for filming or using it while the mic is attached, then, having it in the front side means, it does not poke into your face, and is a plus point as well.
Gerne mache ich Ihnen noch ein Kompliment für den lieben und zuvorkommenden Service, den ich erfahren habe, seit ich MusiX entdeckt habe :-)
