Digitech Whammy Ricochet

The Whammy Ricochet DigiTech heralds - the next round of Whammy. For the first time it was possible to pack the legendary Whammy Pedal in a compact housing and thus save valuable space on the notoriously too small pedal boards. In the Ricochet, the bulky pedal is replaced by a button that can be used either as a momentary button or a foot switch. There are 7 pitch shift programs available: 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, Octave, 2 Octaves and Octave + Dry, all of which are old friends from the previous models.
A LED chain shows the direction and the pitch shifting interval. In addition to the classic Tom Morello and David Gilmour style octave shifts, tremolo lever simulations that sound deceptively real can also be generated. In addition, the Chords mode, already known from Whammy DT, is available, with which slide and steel guitar effects can be simulated.
