Wer Jim Root kennt, weiss dass diese Klampfe nicht mehr viel mit Jazz am Hut hat.
Eine kompromisslose, minimalstische und brutale High Gain Axt!
Der Hals ist trotz seiner Breite sehr angenehm und schnell bespielbar. An der Verarbeitung gibt es nichts auszusetzen, ebenso am Setup.
Ich bin nicht wirklich Fan von EMG Pickups, doch die Jim Root DAEMONUM Tonabnehmer gefallen mir um einiges besser als die steril und komprimiert klingende 81/60 Kombi. Die Orientierung an klassischen Passiv Pickups lassen sich klar erkennen, mehr Dynamik und weniger Kompression sind deutlich wahrnehmbar. Mit dem Hals Tonabenhmer sind auch unverzerrte Töne gut spielbar.
Dennoch spiele ich mit dem Gedanken die EMGs durch Fishman Fluence zu ersetzen um zusätzliche Klang Optionen zu gewinnen.
