Description

Tobias Lindell has already proven with his 500-format modules that he can cleverly bring classic circuits into the modern age. With the LiN76, he applies this talent to a famous FET compressor. Lindell Audio presents the LiN76, an FET compressor with a classic sound. The LiN76 allows you to control input, output, attack, release as well as switchable ratio dynamics control with vintage sound. The large VU meter can be calibrated with a rear panel control. Like the prototype, the LiN76 also offers the "All-Buttons-In" mode, which turns the compressor into a brickwall limiter with a particularly aggressive sound.

Macht einfach Spass!

Ich wollte einen 1176 für Vocals und E-Bass. Ich mische sonst nur mit Plugins, abgesehen von gelegentlicher Compression einer Snare oder Vocal mit dem Rupert Neve Designs 543. Der LiN76 macht den Job einfach viel besser als 1176-Plugins. Konstanz ist der Punkt. Plugins über- oder unterreagieren im Vergleich. Mal wirkt es überkomprimiert, mal nicht ganz genug. Der LiN76 hingegen erzeugt einen konstanten Pegel mit konstantem Low End. Und die Verdeutlichung der Aussprache bei Vocals is sowas von tasty! Und das für diesen Preis... Würde ich sofort wieder kaufen!

Einzig leicht störender Punkt: Attack und Release sind jeweils andersrum als bei sonstigen 1176-Geräten. 7 ist also nicht die schnellste sondern langsamste Stufe.
