Brand

Laney wurde 1967 von Lyndon Laney in der Nähe von Birmingham gegründet. Er hatte damals zusammen mit Robert Plant & John Bonham gemeinsam in einer Band gespielt. Zu der damaligen Zeit gab es keine ausreichend lauten Verstärker und somit hatte sich Lyndon entschieden seine eigenen Verstärker zu entwickeln und zu bauen. Schnell hat es sich herumgesprochen und die Nachfrage war groß. Das war der Beginn von Laney Amplification. Die Black Country Custom Amps (BCC) werden wie damals auch in den U.K. in der Region des „Black Country“ in der Nähe von Birmingham entwickelt und gefertigt. Laney ist immer noch ein Familien geführtes Unternehmen welches von James Laney geleitet wird.
