Absolut zufrieden
Als Schlagzeuger bin ich mit dem Shure WH20 sehr zufrieden. Es stört mich nicht beim spielen und mein Background- Gesang hört sich gut an.

Description
The Shure WH20XLR is a rugged, lightweight, wired dynamic headset microphone that provides high-quality voice pickup. It fits securely for active microphone users, such as aerobics instructors and musicians, with low visibility for stage appearances. Suitable for any voice communications application where comfort and reliability are required.
The WH20 has a cardioid (unidirectional) pickup pattern. This provides greater gain-before-feedback and isolation from ambient noise and other unwanted sound sources, such as air-conditioning, musical instruments and loudspeakers. A carefully shaped frequency response includes a voice-frequency presence peak and a low-frequency rolloff to compensate for the proximity effect inherent in cardioid microphones during close-talk operation.
An integrated elastic headband secures the headset comfortably. The headband, wireframe, and gooseneck are adjustable to accommodate any head size or shape. WH20 is supplied with foam windscreen and clothing clip.

Nicht zufrieden
Dieses Mikrofon eignet sich, entgegen der Behauptung des Herstellers, nicht für qualitativ hochwertige Sprachaufnahmen. Es klingt sandig und spitz. Ich bin gelernter Tonmeister; es kann also nicht an der Bedienung liegen. Die AKG-Kopfbügelmikrofone haben den viel volleren Klang.

Top Headset entgegen allen Unkenrufen
Dieses Headset hält, was es verspricht. Nach meinen Nachforschungen im Internet, erhielt das Shure WH20 meist nur mittelmässige Bewertungen. Da es nicht sehr viele Alternativen gibt, habe ich es trotzdem bestellt und bin sehr zufrieden. Klar ist der Ausgangspegel schwach, doch über einen separaten Micpreamp (ich benutze einen batteriebetriebenen von Boss) lässt sich dieses Defizit problemlos wett machen. Über hochwertiges Equipment ist das eh kein Problem.
Für mich als Sing & Songwriter mit Akustikklampfe einfach nur ideal.
