Steven Fryette has been crafting legendary tube amplifiers for decades. Widely known as the man who started VHT Amplification in the late 1980s, he was responsible for one of the first 3-channel tube guitar amplifiers, the aggressive Pitbull line of amps, and a pair of incredibly popular all-tube, rack-based power amplifiers. Thankfully, we were able to convince him to apply his expertise to design our SYN-5050 single-space rack power amp. Today Fryette continues to produce top-notch amps for pros and hobbyists alike, so you know, when you plug into a Fryette-designed Synergy SYN-5050, your rig is going to sound great.

Steven Fryette’s all-tube power amplifiers are legendary and have been powering the rigs of some of the most well-known guitarists for decades. That’s why we were so excited to tap into the man’s knowledge in crafting the SYN-5050. This single-space amp will nail your sound to the back wall with either 50 watts per side or 100 watts of 6L6 power when bridged mono. While the SYN-5050 is a good companion to any rack-based guitar preamp, it is the perfect complement to our SYN-2 Dual Module Tube Preamp. Your tone will always be dialed in, thanks to a master section that includes controls for Presence, Depth, and dual Volume controls. Taking into consideration the tone and pedigree of this power amp, as well as our Synergy preamp modules, powering your Synergy rig with a SYN-5050 is an experience in professional-grade design, reliability, and tone that you won’t forget.

Great product

I really enjoy this product since it allow you to quickly swap modules, it's a bit confusing when trying to set up an FX loop of what to unplug and what to leave in, and the manual could be a bet better written in order to make hooking up and configuring properly easier. Mono/Mono bridged/stereo & with or without FX in the loop all change how you wire the back.
