Description
The new U-ART tweeter, a breakthrough solution for use in high-resolution recording and mixing on a budget, goes up to 25 kHz and is mated to a precision waveguide with the same dispersion-control attributes as the High Frequency Propagation (HPS) waveguide used in ADAM Audio's flagship S Series monitors. The waveguide's highly uniform dispersion of high frequencies provides an incredibly wide sweet spot that frees you from being glued to a rigid mix position while working.
A beveled cabinet with a rear-firing bass reflex port and a small footprint allows placement anywhere in your room, no matter how small, and contains built-in DSP-controlled driver crossovers and equalization as well as multi-way analog connections. Powered with a 50 W Class D amplifier for the woofer and a 20 W Class D amplifier for the U-ART tweeter, the T5V produces SPLs of up to 106 dB per pair.
Excellent acoustic characteristics, small dimensions and an outstanding cost/performance ratio make this studio monitor perfectly suited for use in small control rooms in music, video and broadcast production.
If you need to hear more bottom end, the T5V is compatible with the ADAM Sub7 and Sub8 subwoofers.

Monitor, der alle Schwächen aufdeckt.
Anfangs war ich sehr irritiert, da das Klangbild sehr scharf war. Hat mir gar nicht gefallen. ABER - als ich dann alles mit symetrischen XLR-Kabel verbunden hatte, war diese Schärfe weg. Jetzt ist es so, dass kein Detail verborgen bleibt. Für eine Monitorbox ideal. Fürs Musikhören würde ich von dieser abraten, da jeder schlechte Mix sofort auffällt.

Super Sub
Im Zusammenhang mit den Satelitten ist der Sub die ideale Ergänzung und bringt genügend tiefe Bässe. Fürs Studio ist es eh besser, auch diese in der Lautstärke nicht zu übertreiben. Schliesslich geht es um einen homogenen Mix ;-)

Ein lohnenswertes Upgrade
Bisher hatte ich ein Paar sehr günstiger 5'' Studio-Monitore samt einem passenden Subwoofer im Einsatz. Nachdem der Verstärker im Subwoofer einen nicht reparablen Schaden erlitt, brauchte ich Ersatz und habe mich nach der Recherche für die ADAM T7V in Kombination mit dem Subwoofer T10S entschieden. Nach der Aufstellung, dem Einmessen und einem guten Tag des Einspielens habe ich die Boxen mit Musik aus verschiedenen Quellen intensiv getestet. Sie spielen wie erwartet sehr neutral, sofern die Grenzfrequenz und die Lautstärke am Subwoofer richtig eingestellt sind. Die Monitore haben ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und ich bereue nicht, mir die 'Budget'-Version der ADAM Audio Monitore gekauft zu haben, die für mich als Hobby-Musiker absolut ausreichend sind.
Für mich hat sich dieses Upgrade auf jeden Fall sehr gelohnt!
