AKG C7

The AKG C7 is a high-quality vocal microphone for concerts and live productions. It is ideal for singers who value the precise and natural reproduction of their voice. Disturbing background noise caused by handling or pop sounds is reduced to a minimum with the AKG C7. The mechano-pneumatic bearing of the microphone capsule ensures effective decoupling of handling noise. To prevent pop and hissing sounds, the microphone basket has a protective system made of 3 layers of special acoustic fleece.

The microphone has a targeted directional effect due to its supercardioid characteristic. The narrow pick-up field blocks out sound coming from the side. The AKG C7 is therefore particularly insensitive to feedback.

The AKG C7 is designed for durability and longevity. The metal housing and the spring steel grille cap make the microphone extremely robust. The diaphragm is gold-plated and insensitive to moisture and corrosion.

Caution: Microphones with a supercardioid characteristic have a proximity effect. The sound of the microphone can be shaped depending on the distance and pick-up angle. At a short distance (less than 5 cm) from the microphone, the voice sounds fuller, softer and more bass-heavy. As the distance increases, the sound becomes smoother and more rounded.
