Description

The Custom 24 is the quintessential PRS guitar: the iconic guitar that started it all back in 1985. The Custom 24-08 keeps all the foundational specs of the instrument, while taking the Custom platform to new sonic territories. Like the Core Series instrument, the SE Custom 24-08 features two mini-toggle coil-tap switches that individually tap the humbuckers for single coil sounds and a total of eight pickup configurations.

Classic design elements include a maple top, mahogany back, rosewood fretboard, 24 frets, 25” scale length, bird inlays, signature headstock logo, and PRS patented tremolo.

Gute Kombinationen von Coil-Splitting

Durch Ausprobieren der 8 Möglichkeiten mit den beiden Kippschaltern habe ich meine 3 Favoriten recht schnell herausgefunden und bin glücklich damit. Das Instrument liegt gut in der Hand und gefällt mir optisch sehr.

Wahnsinn wie sich die PRS SE Serie entwickelt hat

Vor über 10 Jahren hatte ich einmal kurz eine PRS SE, diese war von der Verarbeitung nicht perfekt. Was PRS aber inzwischen abliefert ist wirklich extrem gut gemacht und PRS betreibt auch einen grösseren Aufwand bei der SE Serie. Die Gitarren sehen inzwischen fantastisch aus und tönen auch super cool.

Einfach Top für den Preis

Farbe ist schrill und knallig, sieht super aus. Holzmaserung ist sehr schön. Die Potis und Schalter machen einen sehr wertigen Eindruck, Regler sind angenehm gedämpft.
Sound war mir etwas zu agressiv, Pickups zu hoch, runtergeschraubt und jetzt einen guten Sound.
Für den Preis, wirklich eine tolle Gitarre
