The IE 40 PRO features a newly-developed dynamic broadband transducer delivering
distortion-free precision even at extreme volumes, smooth response across the frequency spectrum and a strong bass foundation. The compact 10mm diaphragm permits an ergonomic construction with a secure fit and high level of wearing comfort. The robust design makes the earbuds fit for stage use, even their cable duct.

kaum Bass
Über das Handling lässt sich nichts schlechtes sagen, aber der Klang passt mir gar nicht. Bässe haben kaum Druck und der Sound ist extrem dünn.

Super Sound, passen sehr gut. Ohrbügel ist besser formbar als die Shure In-Ear.

Deutlich besser als Shure
Deutlich bequemerer Sitz als alle anderen Shure SE, angenehmeres und hochwertigeres Kabel (kein stechender Plastikgeruch, so wie bei den transparenten Kabeln von Shure), einfacheres Einsetzen. Aber viel wichtiger: Der Sound ist um Klassen besser als bei Shure (Vergleich war zu SE215, SE425 und SE535). Nach dem Release der IE-Serie von Sennheiser dieses Jahr kann ich nicht verstehen wie man noch die IEMs von Shure kaufen kann. Dazu kommt: Die Austauschkabel von Sennheiser kosten deutlich weniger als bei Shure.
