Description

The Trigon-6 is Sequential's polyphonic version of the classic, smooth and punchy analog 3-oscillator plus ladder-filter sound that characterized the early days of the synthesizer era. It's a genre-defining sound. Trigon-6 is Sequential's own modern interpretation of this era.

At the heart of the Trigon-6 sound are three newly developed voltage-controlled oscillators (with triangle, sawtooth and pulse waves) and an optimized version of the ladder filter that Sequential developed for its Pro 3 monosynth. The switchable 2/4-pole resonant filter design features dedicated drive and feedback controls that effortlessly change the sound from crisp to silky and smooth with a simple turn of the pot.

The Trigon-6 combines the best qualities of Sequential's acclaimed Prophet-6 and OB-6 synths: 6-voice polyphony, unmatched playability, a logical signal flow, and a small footprint. Trigon-6 is equipped with a semi-weighted 4 octave keyboard including velocity and channel aftertouch. What distinguishes it from its siblings is its unmistakable sound characteristics, which are created with the help of the three oscillators and the ladder filter. Trigon-6 raises the bar for powerful polyphonic sounds.

Of course, the Trigon-6 features Sequential's full suite of synthesis capabilities, including super-fast envelopes, a syncable LFO with multiple waveforms and destinations, a polyphonic step sequencer, and an arpeggiator. Best of all, you can control these functions directly using the controls on the Trigon-6's front panel. And the ready-made palette of 500 factory and 500 user presets offers classic basses, leads and pads to get any project off the ground.
