5/8 thread at bottom does not fit on my K&M microphone stand. Thread appears to be poor quality. I tried thread adapters from Shure, Sennheiser and Rode microphone holders. Shaft of the knurled nut at the top is too long for my DSLR camera. Three washers are required to make it fit.
