Mids are somewhat scooped (compared it to mxr uni-vibe), making for good compatibility with drive/distiortion/fuzz pedals. Nice simple design. Sounds great with P-90s. Only problem so far: it seems to crunch up when imput gain is high, as I discovered using my G&L ASAT on the humbucker position.
