The MiniFreak Vocoder is a special edition of the popular polyphonic hybrid synthesizer. The same dual digital engines, analogue filters, modulation and sequencer power, now with a vocoder and gooseneck
microphone. Get creative with vocals or external input – from talkbox growls to spectral drones.

With the 16-band vocoder you can connect the microphone or any external source and send it through a classic 16-band speech synthesis engine. Mix the processed voice with the MiniFreak's oscillators, freeze formants for metallic drones, or run talkbox growls through the internal effect slots.

With it's hybrid polysynth power The MiniFreak's two digital sound engines feature 30 modes. They can be used individually or stacked or modulate each other to create unique sound behaviour. The 6 digital voices pass through polyphonic analogue filters, creating a balance between digital clarity and rich analogue sound.

From stereo-enhancing chorus to surgical 3-band EQ to crisp 6-mode distortion, users have everything they need to refine their sound and optimise it for the mix.

Expression meets chaos : despite its penchant for wild and exploratory sound design, MINIFREAK is also designed to be a responsive and expressive instrument. Its velocity-sensitive 37-key keyboard with aftertouch and a spontaneous Seq/Arp function make it an excellent performance instrument, while its randomisation functions and modulation tracks give the user a sense of joy and sonic momentum.

MINIFREAK V Software : MINIFREAK comes with a corresponding VST counterpart that allows users to fully integrate its unique hybrid sound into their DAW and vice versa. Using identical sound engines and architectures, it offers a similar virtual experience to the actual synthesizer – at no additional cost.
