1993 auf den Markt gebracht, um der Nachfrage einiger amerikanischer Jazzmusiker nachzukommen (ein JAVA mit noch mehr Holz). Das V16 hat eine dickere Spitze als die traditionellen Vandoren-Blätter und eine längere Palette.
Klang: brillanter, perkussiver, besonders gut geeignet für alle neuen Musikstile.
V16-Blätter haben einen mitteldicken Kern (mehr als JAVA, aber weniger als traditionelle Blätter) mit einem Profil, das für einen starken Anschlag mit tiefem, sattem Klang ausgelegt ist.
