Description
the ZOOM UAC-232 USB Audio Converter is the first dedicated 32-bit float audio interface designed for musicians who want better quality for their productions.
NO GAIN ADJUSTMENT NEEDED
Whether you're recording in the studio or live, audio levels vary constantly. The UAC-232's 32-bit technology ensures clipping-free, low-noise recordings even without a preamp gain adjustment.
BEST PREAMPS
Using the same clean, low-noise preamps found in Zoom's F-Series professional recorders, the UAC-232 ensures high-quality recordings in any environment.
MORE CONTROL
UAC-232 Mix Control software lets you adjust input/output routing, enable loopback, and control input and monitoring levels. In addition, you can select Music mode to set up routing to your DAW, or Streaming mode to combine all inputs into a single signal for streaming software.
LOOPBACK
Loopback combines the incoming audio with playback from your computer and routes it to your software. This allows you to easily add background music to your stream or sing live to an instrumental track.
LATENCY-FREE MONITORING
Use the Direct Monitor button to feed the input signal directly to your headphones and route it in parallel to your DAW or streaming software. Mix Control lets you adjust the volume and panning for your Direct Monitor feed.
INPUTS
The UAC-232 USB Audio Converter has two XLR/TRS combo inputs for mic or line signals, capable of outputting +48V phantom power for condenser mics. Use the Guitar/Bass button to activate Hi-Z operation for direct recording of a (bass) guitar.
POWERFUL HEADPHONE OUTPUT
The 100 mW headphone output provides louder and clearer monitoring. The power is sufficient to drive even the most demanding headphones without distortion.
MAIN OUTPUTS
For monitoring through studio speakers, the UAC-232 provides two TRS main outputs with volume controls.
MIDI
MIDI inputs/outputs allow connection of external MIDI devices such as drum computers, synths and keyboards.
COMPACT DESIGN
Whether vertical or horizontal, the UAC-232 Audio Converter can be placed anywhere. And you can even attach it to a microphone stand using the included Velcro straps.
COMPATIBILITY
Connect the UAC-232 to a PC or Mac via USB, then use it for recording and streaming via software like Cubase, Pro Tools, OBS, and many others.
Also, when connected to iOS devices, recording and streaming is possible with apps such as Garage Band, YouTube, or Instagram.
*For a PC/Mac, power is supplied via the USB bus. For Lightning-enabled iOS devices, an external power supply is required.
