With state-of-the-art technology, the MIDJPRO is the ideal tool for multimedia performance with MIDI, WAVE, MP3, MP4, JPG, PICs, karaoke and DVI. The sound card offers 4 hi-quality sound modules including STEREO orchestra voices, STEREO drum kits with live drum modeling. clear operation via touch screen, quality sounds and multi-effects, additional arranger section, drum grooves, microphone and guitar input with professional effects, vocalizer, juke box, DJ section, HD recording and numerous other features provide the user with incredible potential. With the compact KETRON MIDJPRO, the standard for modern live entertainment and arranger modules is now clearly redefined.

Player

The MIDJPRO is equipped with two professional players that are capable of playing MIDI, audio (MP3, WAV, FLV, CDG) and video (MP4, AVI) files perfectly. The device provides the functions CROSS FADE for automatic fading between two songs, LEAD MUTE for excluding the melody track and SEARCH for alphabetical or numerical search on the hard disk. State-of-the-art handling for LYRIC, TXT and KARAOKE with the possibility to select colors and backgrounds for the lyrics and to send the lyrics or video clips to an external monitor (DVI) while maintaining control of the directories via touch screen. If a video projector is available, it can be connected to the DVI socket. Operation is carried out using the jog dial or by scrolling on the touchscreen. PLAYLISTS can be created for personalized song sequences. It is also possible to display the preferred folders of a directory directly thanks to the MY FOLDER function. The JUKE BOX environment, in which song playback can be activated at the touch of a finger on the touchscreen, and the DJ menu with double player and audio special effects such as tap tempo, pitch, cut off, resonance, tempo, brake and back spin further simplify operation. In SYNC mode, it is possible to synchronize the BPM of the MIDI and Wav or MP3 files (after appropriate preparation) so that the next song can be started in perfect sync with the current one.

MULTIMEDIA

The multimedia equipment of the MIDJPRO includes a 16 GB SSD hard disk on which the user can store his files and music data safely and reliably. Three USB ports are available for USB sticks, external hard disks, CD-ROMs or other USB storage media, while the USB device port makes it possible to connect the device to a PC and control it from there. An SD card slot and a slot for an optional SATA hard disk complement the MIDJPRO's equipment and guarantee unlimited storage and file management options. The multilingual user manual in HTML format is also stored in the device to enable immediate consultation regarding the functions of the device.

SOUNDBOARD

The MIDJPRO's soundboard offers 512 GM orchestral sounds spread over 4 bars: Grand Piano Stereo, Brass and Sax sections with the tried and tested KETRON & solo & sounds, new guitar and bass sounds in multilayer version alongside the new pads, strings, synths, electric pianos and accordions generated in STEREO and MULTIVOICE mode. The device also includes a VOICE menu with 368 sounds, which are divided into 12 sound groups, already prepared for playing the melody and easily controllable from the master keyboard. These sounds can be edited with the highly developed EDIT program, with the option of overlaying up to 3 sounds. In addition, the 2nd Voice and the Velocity Switch, Duet, Trio, Steel and Harmony functions are available for editing, after which everything can be saved as USER VOICE. Also worth mentioning is the new DSP effects section and the EFX insert chains, which can be programmed with high-quality distortion, chorus, reverb, flanger, phaser, tremolo, 4-band parametric EQ, compressor, delay and rotary. Also available are 47 new electronic stereo DRUM SETS with a special LIVE DRUM MODELLING system that randomly controls some percussion instruments such as snare, rim shot, claps and snap with different patterns to create the live sound of drummers in a realistic way. What sets the MIDJPRO's sound generation apart from other modules is an extensive library of over 267 AUDIO DRUM LOOPS, which can be used to enrich or even replace the rhythmic parts of sequences, making them stand out from the sound of normal MIDI files.

ARRANGER

The MIDJPRO features an innovative, professional arranger section with 144 styles covering all genres of modern live entertainment.The KETRON philosophy already pursued with the Audya series is continued with the MIDJPRO: It integrates AUDIO recordings of drums and percussion instruments into the rhythm of its arrangements, which are perfectly synchronized with Midi Clock and have an optimal tolerance range even with high tempo variations (up to 30 % -/+ compared to the nominal BPM). In addition to the audio rhythms, the styles also use the extensive library of Latin, dance and traditional drum grooves that are already available in the sound module. The grooves can be freely selected and saved within the styles. The accompaniment consists of the BASS, 5 CHORDS with a large selection of rhythmic-harmonic patterns, 2 manual chords (LOWER) and 3 orchestral VARIATIONS, which can be easily activated and deactivated while playing to make the style performance less static and repetitive. The MIDJPRO arranger is extremely flexible and provides an EDIT of all style parameters, which gives the possibility to change the original values of the accompaniment sections (sounds, volumes, effects, variations, etc.), assign 4 sounds to the melody and combine them with the 4 ABCD segments of the arrangement. The style personalized in this way can be saved as a USER STYLE and added to your own library without deleting or changing the original factory styles. With the PIANIST function, the arranger of the MIDJPRO can be controlled via the keyboard. In BASSIST mode, sophisticated musicians can play the manual bass on the left and control the arranger on the right of the keyboard at the same time by using a complex chord recognition algorithm.

MICRO/GUITAR

The MIDJPRO has 2 microphone inputs. The first (MICRO 1) is dedicated to the main microphone with the effects reverb, echo, equalizer, noise gate, compressor and pitch shift. The Micro 1 input also controls the VOICETRON, the vocalizer section of the MIDJPRO with 3 voices and the option of Midi Mode, Harmony Right & Left and Unison. The MICRO 2 input, on the other hand, can be used both for a second microphone and for connecting a GUITAR thanks to the selector button on the back of the device. Once the guitar has been connected to the Micro 2 input, it can be enriched with all kinds of device-specific DSP effects, providing guitarists and singers with a complete setup for live performances. The effects are fully programmable and controllable via foot switch (FS 13- FS 6). If you have a guitar with a MIDI converter, you can also control the arranger and set the chords for the automatic accompaniment directly on the guitar.

ACCORDION

In addition to the simplified connection of the MIDI accordion and the classic pedal control (footswitch) for all functions of the instrument, the MIDJPRO also provides new menus that have been developed exclusively for the MIDI accordion. In CLASSIC ACCORDION mode, which is based on fully manual playing, the musician can program complete concert orchestrations with 2 bass sounds, 3 chord sounds and preset voices in the melody as well as a possible rhythm section and save it all as a registration. In STYLE ACCORDION mode, in which the arranger is controlled by the left hand, a new, elegant BASS TO CHORD function has been integrated, which allows chords and tonalities to be played by striking a specific chord together with a specific bass;this allows you to play chords and tonalities that are usually not intended for the normal accordion technique, such as sixth chord, minor seventh chord, minor seventh chord, fourth chord, minor fifth chord and non-chord. This opens up new possibilities for the accordion player, especially in the field of light music and jazz.

REGISTRATION

A powerful registration structure allows you to save the status of the MIDJPRO's control panel, including all settings and functions of the device. There are 4 banks, each with 1024 registrations, which can be easily controlled from the touchscreen or called up externally via MIDI.

HD RECORDING

The MIDJPRO has a hard disk recording function with the option of digitally recording everything that the MIDJPRO is capable of playing. A dedicated editing menu allows you to edit the recorded wav material and optimize the audio level as well as the start and end points of the recording.
