En tant que pionnier des guitares heavy rock, Ibanez a déjà sorti des modèles à 7 et 8 cordes. Cette année, nous sortons la RGD, la nouvelle machine heavy metal d'Ibanez.
Les guitares heavy rock doivent produire un son clair jusqu'à la note la plus basse sans perdre en jouabilité. Nous avons donc maintenu l'échelle du manche à un minimum de 1 pouce entre les frettes, et des micros accordés d'origine sont montés.
Les guitaristes heavy rock tiennent généralement leurs guitares bas, et le corps RGD aux formes acérées permet un bon équilibre et un accès plus facile aux frettes hautes pour les joueurs de taille basse.
