Subtle but essential piece of kit...

DI boxes have always been a blind spot for me, which is a bit silly as I don't own a bass amp and have a Fender Jazz Bass..

Anyway, I did my research and listening to side by side comaprisons, the RNDI seemed to sound easily the best of the other DI boxes I listened to.

MusiX despatched the same day and the RDNI was with me the next day, amazing service!

In use, the RDNI actually does indeed live up to its high price tag, the Fender bass instantly was clearer, had more oomph and much more bottom end. This is going into a Mackie 2404 VLZ4 desk.

Not tried it yet between my Fender Hotrod guitar amp and desk yet, but this is the second function of the RDNI which allows you to capture the sound of any guitar and bass amp. And according to the handbook, it does mean virtually any guitar or bass amp due to the power it can handle on the input.

Sometimes, you pay for just the name and they don't come more legendary than Rupert Neve, but this little box actually does live up to its name and price.

Highly recommended.
