Godin xtSA (LightBurst Flame)

The xtSA delivers great electric tones via the Godin humbucker single humbucker pickup configuration, and thanks to a special 5-way switch setup, particularly throaty humbucker tones coexist with glassy split-coil sounds in the second and fourth positions. Turn down the electric output and increase the volume on the RMC transducer saddles, and the xtSA becomes an incredibly authentic sounding "acoustic" guitar. The xtSA 's acoustic sound is enhanced by an onboard preamp with a triple graphic EQ. The two outputs are set up so that the electric and acoustic sounds can be mixed using a single patch cable or at the amp/mixer using both outputs. Plus, the xtSA 's synth tracking is, simply put, the best in the industry. As with all of Godin's synth-ready instruments, a built-in 13-pin connector provides direct access to all Roland™ GR Series synths, as well as most other 13-pin devices. All that sonic power would be a lot less interesting if the guitar didn't feel great, but the xtSA certainly does, thanks to the same 25½-inch scale length and mahogany neck used on the Godin LGX-SA flagship guitar. The Richlite® fingerboard is shaped using Godin Ergocut technology and features medium-sized jumbo frets. The Body features a silver leaf maple center with poplar wings and is covered in a premium veneer of heavily figured koa.
