Teenage Engineering OPlab Module

In addition to the fantastic synth & FX engine, the OP-Z above all offers a powerful sequencer which, thanks to the OPlab module, now also controls external hardware such as synthesizers and Eurorack systems. The OPlab Module can be installed in the OP-Z in just a few steps without affecting the compact, minimalist design of the workstation.

Two of the four input and output sockets in 3.5mm mini-jack format offer a switchable MIDI In & Out, which sends and receives MIDI or triggers, for example to play synthesizers or drum machines with the OP-Z, or the synth engines via an external MIDI Keyboard to use. With the “PO” mode, the in-house pocket operators can also be conveniently synchronized and integrated into the live set. In order to integrate the powerful sequencer of the OP-Z (including its innovative step components) into Eurorack systems, the two remaining connections send three CV outputs and a gate-out.
