Very recommended!

I recently started playing acoustic bass and wanted to get that vintage jazzy sound but all I got even with expensive bronze strings was a really bright and guitar like sound.. soulless!
Once I tried these I got hooked, they are quite loose, very smooth, very little fret noises and a warm round sound.
It's all about individual taste in sound but, for me, nothing other than tapewound is ever gonna make its way on my ABG.
