Korg Wavestate Module

The wavestate module is the space-saving module version of the wavestate mkII and, with the exception of the keyboard and the pitch / modulation wheels, has the same controls and features as the unique Wave Sequencing 2.0 synthesizer from KORG. Wave Sequencing 2.0 sound generation allows you to create complex soundscapes that are constantly changing and seemingly never repeat. This is achieved by stringing together several samples in a fixed order, which can be subsequently changed in real time using a clever lane structure with several tracks. A sound program can consist of four such sequences, which can be blended into one another using a vector joystick. For further modulation, the wavestate module offers a versatile multimode filter and an extensive effects section. This creates unique rhythmic Pattern or waving pad sounds that would be unimaginable with any other synthesizer. In addition to the regular controls on the user interface, there are also eight programmable MOD controls available for direct intervention in the sound, which can even influence several parameters at the same time. Thanks to KORG's own Smooth Sound Transition function, sounds and effects naturally fade out even after switching to the next sound program and are not suddenly cut off. A clever randomize function allows you to create new sounds on a random basis. For individual expansion, a total of 4 GB of additional storage is available for your own samples, which can be transferred to the instrument using editor software. In addition, the wavestate module supports the MIDI 2.0 Property Exchange Standard as well as polyphonic Aftertouch and is therefore an ideal complement to the KORG Keystage MIDI 2.0 Keyboard.
