Description
The KSM353 is the Premium Ribbon Microphone for the clean sound in studio and concert hall.
Equipped with the revolutionary Roswellite Ribbon technology, it is stronger and more durable than traditional Ribbon Microphones, even under extreme conditions.
Phonetic features mitigate the KSM353 a clear response of the bass frequencies without the output of the midrange frequencies. ¨
"Roswellite called" an extremely strong, lightweight and super-elastic paramagnetic composite material that has high conductivity and a shape memory. Simply put, the material has in comparison with traditional ribbon greater strength and resilience. Roswellite survives air shocks, popping sounds, phantom power and high sound intact, even at low frequency.
The KSM313 and KSM353 were introduced in 2007 and 2008 as "El Diablo" and "Naked Eye Roswellite" to the public. They were developed by Crowley & Tripp Microphones. The audio division of Soundwave Research Laboratories combined this one for medical ultrasound technologies developed nano-material with conventional film-strips to Roswellite Ribbon. 2009 took over the patents to Roswellite Shure microphones and marketed now as part of the KSM series.
The new KSM microphones combine the tonal benefits of Ribbon Mics by incredible strength, so that operations are on the stage no more problem. Hand-made of advanced high-quality components, they are examples of the unique quality of Shure microphones.
