Description
The IEX-16L is a 16-channel input expander for the myMix system. Equipped with two DB25 connectors, it allows the connection of up to 16 balanced line-level signals that can be fed from devices such as mixing consoles or external microphone pre-amps. An IEX-16Lcan be connected to a single myMix unit without the need for a switch.
The IEX-16L can be configured through myMix devices, including channel naming and stereo linking. IEX-16L inputs are available as named channels on every myMix on the network. Inputs that are not used are switched off, allowing for the combination of IEX-16Land local myMix inputs. If the total channel count is 16 (up to 8 pairs) or less a standard 100Mbs nonmanaged
switch may be used.
Each myMix can control a maximum of 16 channels; however, many more channels can be available on the network. If more than 16 channels exist on the network, users can select which 16 channels will be monitored
on their specific unit. A network operating more than 16 audio channels requires a switch that has IGMP snooping capabilities.
