Description
The transmitter accepts microphones, instruments and line level sources via XLR, TRS and 6.35mm connector. It houses a 3 way switch for selecting phantom power (+48v) and activating the 6.35mm jack, high impedance input. It also features LED's for muting, phantom power and high impedance status.
The Neutrik Xirium is a digital wireless system that replaces the need for analogue audio cables where running cables may be difficult or not possible, while still maintaining high audio quality output.
Xirium Series products Neutrik provide a professional networking solution for setting up digital bi-directional wireless audio connections. Based on DIWA (Digital Wireless Audio) technology, the Xirium network operates in the 5 GHz band, which does not require any licenses. DIWA based networks can also send and receive audio signals. This allows both signal sources (microphones, instruments, etc.) and signal receivers (loudspeakers, mixers, etc.) to be integrated. DIWA supports multi-channel operation of up to eight audio channels. Up to 24 receivers can also be supplied in broadcast (master/slave) mode. Thanks to the digital, uncompressed data transmission, the system can also convince with excellent, lossless audio quality.

Die Audiodatenübertragung erfolgt durch das DIWA-Protokoll unkomprimiert, in hervorragender Qualität. Die Audiowerte sprechen in dieser Beziehung eine sehr deutliche Sprache: 24bit/48kHz, THD<0.01%@1kHz, ein SNR>05dB@1kHz und eine mit 3 ms sehr kleine Latenz! Die Reichweite unter normalen Bedingungen beträgt 300m, bei optimalen Verhältnissen sind auch deutlich grössere Distanzen möglich (bis 800m)
